Chris Janson, presented by Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, is coming to Alexandria to perform at the second annual Douglas County Fair Country Concert! The concert will start with Nashville-based singer/songwriter Damon Mitchell. Up next will be Adam Calvert who is a high-energy country music artist from Nashville. Chris Janson will take over the stage for an energetic show at 8:15 p.m.! This will be a rain or shine event. No ticket refunds.

What's included in the VIP package?
The VIP package will include 2 drink tickets, a fast access line (for wristbanding and to eliminate waiting in lines), standing room close to the stage (on the east side of the stage), and porta potties designated for the VIP ticket holders. You will also have a beer tent close by so you aren't waiting in line for beverages and missing the concert.
I already have a fair admission ticket. Can I just buy a concert ticket?
Yes, all our concert tickets and fair admission tickets are sold separately this year.
When do the gates to the concert open?
Gates for the concert will open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. There is no reserved seating - it is first come, first serve.
What venue will the concert be held in?
The Glenwood State Bank Grandstand on the fairgrounds.
Can I have a chair in the Roth Roofing Party Pit?
No. We will have some bleachers available for seating in the Party Pit, but it will be primarily standing room only. Bleacher seating will be first come, first serve.
Can I upgrade my ticket? (ie. I have a General Admission ticket and I want to upgrade to a Roth Roofing Party Pit Pass.)
Yes. Stop by the Fair Office under the Grandstand the week of the fair to upgrade. The Fair Office will be open daily at 8 a.m. starting Monday, August 12 - Saturday, August 17th. Ticket upgrades will be available while supplies last.
Will there be beer at the concert?
Yes, there will be two beer tents for the concert so you don't need to miss a thing! The Roth Roofing Party Pit will have access to two beer tents and General Admission will have access to one beer tent.
