Calling all girls ages 5-9 to become the Douglas County Fair 2023 Fair Princess!
Our Princess Pageant will be for girls ages 5-9. The girls will be judged on the best dress, best private interview, and the best onstage interview. They will practice for several hours starting two weeks before the pageant learning how to walk on stage, wave to the audience and learn a dance that they will perform as a group at the Douglas County Fair! $25 scholarships are being offered to the first ten registrants! These scholarships have been generously provided by Bell Bank in Alexandria.
It's great fun for the girls as they make new friends, enjoy practicing together, a pizza and pool party before the fair, and receive recognition at the fair.
The public is then invited/encouraged to come on out and watch the fun-filled pageant which will be held Thursday, August 17th at 5:30 p.m.
